Default a submersible pump in the gurgle system
Could you use a submersible pump in the gurgle system instead of a air pump? Would it achieve the same effect? Also should the system run all day or just when the sun is out? Thanks

Yes you can but then it would be called a drip garden because it wouldn't gurgle anymore.
