cubic inches of root space

Will grow Oregon Spring tomatoes - 18" to 24" tall. How many cubic inches of root space will I need for each plant - pebbles and flood & drain. Moe.

For that small of a plant you could use the 2 liter system with the 16 oz solo cups.
