Who says you cant grow hydroponic crops anywhere? How about in the Antarctic, the coldest harshest continent on the planet. The only continent that has such harsh conditions there are no permanent human residents on the entire continent. Great article! I'd definitely want a back up plan too when my only way off that ice cube was a plane once every few weeks.

I hear some "researchers" go to Antartica to grow other things though.

Great article!! I'm surprised hydroponics hasn't skyrocketed as of yet. This article shows you can grow hydroponically in the most harshest conditions on the planet.
