Difference between lava rocks and grow rocks

Whats the difference between lava rocks and grow rocks, and can i use lava rocks in your 11 plant garden. Also k-gro has a water soluble tomato feed can i use this. Thanks, dave

Yes I am using lava rock with a tomato plant to see if it works. It has so far. Take a hammer and brake them into small pieces the size of small marbles. Throw away the real little pieces because they will clog your system.
Yes 1 teaspoon of K- GRO will work if you add 1/4 teaspoon of Epson salt and 1/4 tsp. Calcium Nitrate to every gallon of water.
