I grow in my south facing window all the time. The only thing is how new are your windows? Some windows have a film to lower the amount of UV's that come thru to help keep the heat out. If you have newer windows that may affect your plants growth. If they are older windows, no problem. Only way to know for sure is just go for it and see how they do. If you are growing fruiting or flowering plants you may need just a bit more light depending on where you are, here in the NW I would suplement lighting this time of the year but not in late spring thru early fall.
