This is so my favorite system, almost no maintenance on it except for pollinating and picking the veggies and fruit. I think my 1st cantalope is almost ready to pick, maybe another week as it is starting to change from green to the yellow tan color. I have been thinking non-stop on how to imporve this system for my needs and I think I am going to turn the barrels end to end next time for better access and run them the whole lengh of the green house in rows. I am short and do not have much reach so I think that will work better for me. I think one row for each nute similur plant so each row will have a nute tank specifically formulated for those plants. I still plan on doing lettuce vertically in the pipes and I want to try herbs, stawberries, corn and some root plants like onions and potatos (crazy since I can throw a rock and hit potato fields) but I want to try them.
