I would use coco fiber, (not cocopeat), But tomatoes, capsicum and cabbage will all quickly outgrow a NFT system. You may be able to do OK with the cabbage if you harvest them before they mature, but will outgrow the NFT system before they mature. The tomatoes and capsicum will out grow the NFT system before you ever harvest anything from them.
