My local hydro store has a sale on Sun System 150W
hps lamps ($30) and I was thinking of getting 4. If I arranged them in a square pattern, would that be enough light for a 3 foot tall determinate tomato plant? Would the bottom not be getting enough lumens? I would think keeping the
lights a foot away from the top of the plant would keep it from getting too warm.
Or, should I just go for a 400W for a little more? ($150)
