Don't know what could be causing the reading maybe sensor bad like u said
I but and different kind meter to see if this one bad
also my AC/HEATER unit is up on wall and I also
have baseboard heat which aint worth a crap and
also my patio facing towards lake I get a lot wind and cold
air that hit my unit directly
