Thanks Joe, it looks like the spots were sunburn. I didn’t get anymore and after a week in the system, they look great. Good root growth, see image.
Thanks Gps, my auto top off float system just arrived today. I will be able to take my reservoir up to 52 Gal max and keep it there with fresh water. If this gets to a point where I can’t control the
nutrient and pH swings then I will have to start shredding plants. But reality is if they are drinking 2 gal each per day then I will have no choice which is a shame.
