I had 4 green bean plants in the same system with my peas and they did not do well at all. I even started new ones and replaced the old ones with the new ones, but still had the same problem. Yellow in color foliage, and they just did not seem to want to grow. I'm sure it was just too cold for them. I replaced them with more peas instead, because the peas seem to handle the cold much better than the green beans did. Now I have 6 regular peas, and 6 snow peas, but I still want green beans though.
