cherry tomatoes using the 2 liter bottles

Can you grow cherry tomatoes using the 2 liter bottles you recommend for the 11 plant garden? What tomatoes work the best with 2 liter bottles?

I only grow Patio or Bush type plants in the 2-liter. I use the gallon size for large tomato plants.
