Default Newbie-tomato struggles

Hi All!

I am a new Hydro grower...started about 6 months ago. I am currently attempting to grow Brandy-wine tomatoes and sweet bell peppers in a DWC (5 gal buckets).

my problem is the tomatoes are growing like weeds, seem to grow buds OK, about half of the buds drop, and only a few have developed tiny tomatoes, but that is all it will do. The peppers wont bud at all.

I have been pollinating with an electric toothbrush.

any help is appreciated!! My setup and pictures are attached

SETUP:

(2) 5 gal buckets in small agromax grow tent
nutrients changed every 10-14 days
1 T5 HO light with 1 grow bulb and 1 bloom bulb
light on 12 hrs per day
heater to keep temp around 75 during light on, 60-65 at "night"
small fan inside to circulate air
C02 bag on light above plants
water is through PUR water filter

First, the image links don't open up for me. Have you tried uploading them directly to the forum? Second the T5 light is very insufficient for growing fruiting plants, much less large ones like tomatoes and peppers.

What is the water temp?
Which one of the 6 types of hydroponic systems are you using?
Is it a water culture system?
Do you have an air pump running.

Thanks for your response. I am incredibly new so excuse the ignorance

Not sure how to upload directly to the forum. If you can point me in the direction of how to do that, I will do it right away.

I have not measured water temp but considering the nighttime temp is around 65, I would assume (maybe i shouldnt) it to be in the mid 60's

As far as type of system, it is a DWC with 5 gal buckets and air pumps. Is that what you mean?
