Are you saying that growing in potting soil is better than growing hydroponically????

No he was saying that he believed his hypothesis was right that plants do grow faster in dirt than in hydro and was inviting a so called expert to disprove his hypothesis. I can see that you aren't that expert.

do you not know who ron is ? this is his website and forum .may be you need to go somewhere that people have no sense of humor. yes being a newbie is tough . hang in there ,not every one in life is as nice as you. there are a lot of other hydro forums out there to learn from go look around. have the best day ever fellow grower!!
