Aren't vegatables in a hydroponic system lucky. We give them exactly the food and light they need. Then we build them special hammocs to rest in. Life can't be better. Until we eat them!!

Harvested the Pumpkins and most of the cantalope yesterday. Still have tomatoes going strong, but temps are suppose to drop in the 40's tonight. I have way more than I can do anything with. Also took down the lettuce in the house as it was starting to bolt. I'm thinking of starting some more, but I have so much to do I don't need another project right now. I also had to put down one of my ewes last week and I just can't find the heart to do anything right now. Abby, the lone sheep standing, who is turning 15 or 16 this year is missing her friend and I have been spending a lot of time with her in the yard while I clean up the outside mess.
