Default Which Microbes to Use?

I just found out I'm over paying for nutrients. I've switched from NPK Industries Raw to Maxigro + Maxibloom. NPK Industries Raw still makes my microbes and I'm having trouble finding them for cheaper. Can anyone help? Also, what is the difference between grow microbes and bloom microbes?

Do you know what microbes are???
Do you know what their purpose is?
Do you know how they work?
Do you know when to use them if any?

First
the difference between gro microbes and bloom microbes is marketing. Sales..... As often happens, the salesman saw you coming and sold you everything he/she could.

Second
I might accept " eat up the goo and turn it into moo" if you were growing organically, but you don't seem to know enough about microbes to even know what their for. That can not only be very expensive, but dangerous to your plants. Forget about microbes for now. If you want to learn about them, I'll post some articles on the subject and expect to do a lot of reading.

OK, thanks for clearing that up chopficaro. I wasn't sure if it might be meant to be something derogatory, and if it was then I would be wasting my time trying to help. Especially since you haven't sent me a PM so I can e-mail you the articles that don't have links anymore. So I began to think you weren't interested, and when I saw the unfamiliar words thought perhaps it was meant to be something negative.

Don't worry, I thought it may have been something like that, however I looked up "nom" and couldn't find a definition for the word. So I didn't know what it meant. So instead of speculating, I just asked. I don't mind helping people as much as I can, and try to do just that. I don't always have as much time as I would like or need to reply fully. Just like in this thread that's why it took two days to get back to you with some of the articles I was talking about. I still didn't/don't have time to finish, but wanted to get you something to start with.

At least two of the articles I wanted to add that night, the links don't work anymore. I tried to quickly search for the updated links to them, but appear that's going to take a lot more time of searching. That's why I wanted to just e-mail them to you. It would save me a lot of time to just e-mail them to you, than to track down the updated links.
