Pipe Dreams Hydroponic Systems was formed in 1992 by Ronald Hancock as a hydroponic
testing farm to see if it was possible to grow plants commercial from recycled two liter
soda bottles, bleach bottles, and other household containers.
With the lower cost and rising popularity of the Internet Ron taught himself web page
building and went on line in early 1996 to make available what he had learned to the
public.
Ron says. "I try to keep up with the latest technology which isn't easy on a farmers
salary but I know the Internet is going to be a big part of the future as a link between
ordinary people around the world exchanging ideas about hydroponics and discovering that
yes it is as fun and easy as it looks."
