For sale a ADI AR-147 VHF Transceiver in Good Working condition. The cosmetic condition is Good . There are some imperfections or small scratches overall in Nice clean cosmetic condition; nothing stands out has a fresh appearance this radio was not used much. The box has a few imperfections from being stored. I tested the radio out prior to listing and I noticed good sensitivity and nice sounding audio out of the enclosed speaker while hooked up to a 1\\2 wave mag mount antenna with a ground and with low SWR. I was able to get several repeaters with and without tones and a good signal report on a simplex frequency. The microphone has lighted buttons and is similar to the TM-261 style mic. The microphone is heavy duty but a little clunkier and ptt button is somewhat touchy by design. This radio is very  similar in design and programming to the Kenwood TM-241 series radio. The manual is almost identical and the microphones are interchangeable. All of the buttons work well and meter function along with controls. Features include, CTCSS and DCS encode, decode,memory presets and tone scan. In addition, power output approx. 60W high, 25W Mid and 7W low Power. Also, a nice orange LCD digital display. the radio is solid and nice looking. The plastic over the LCD display is thick. Again, the radio was not used much very minimally. I am thinning out my collection of gear stored in the closet that are no longer being used. Comes with box , original microphone, bracket & screws, printed manual and power cord.
