This scabbardis American ,for an M1872 Calvary Officers Sword. Looks to be in good condition , worn but not ruined . Has discoloration and ware and some surface rust . Not perfectly straight but still absolutely usable. Nice detail in the ring mounts which appear to be aged brass and swing fine, as is the open end and the detailed tip. The tip has a sun burst type pattern the has some remaining silver as seen in the photos. The pics are part of the description so check them out thoroughly please. Any questions please ask.
