A beautiful antique carved Black Forest barometer/thermometer!
~Ornate carvings… of course it’s the huge eagle or “bird of prey” with wings spread that demands your attention, and the deer/buck running through the Black Forest is equally impressive!~

Condition:
The barometer case and face are in good condition for its age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. Some chipped ends on the tips, but definitely less than normal for its age (also, it looks like just one little horn on the buck). As stated, I cannot guarantee barometer mechanical parts. Good original beveled glass front on barometer; porcelain back on the thermometer. Impressive overall condition.

Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
