For Sale is this extraordinary Smith Premier Quarter Sawn S Roll top type writer desk. This is a beautiful desk and has features that other roll top desks do not have. The desk has many neat little cubby holes for invoices and other uses. It is unique in that it has a hidden compartment for a type-writer or a key boar underneath the desk top that slides under to reveal the keyboard rest. You can conceal the typewriter when you are not using it by pulling down the desk top. It has the original paten number engraved on it and has seven storage drawers including a large file drawer. It comes with the original key but it does not appear to work, but if this is an important factor, you can get it fix. It also has an original file with the name of the Manufacturing Company. The desk was made somewhere around the 1890-1920s. It is in very good condition and has no major damage except the expected minor wear and nicks. The measurements are: H-50”, Length 49” and a Depth of 31”. This is a pick up only item so please make sure you make arrangement for pick up before purchasing and email me if you have questions.
