This planer is in excellent condition. It was purchased to build one set of kitchen cabinets and then retired when I purchased a 20\" planer. The plastic exhaust adapter has tabs which are used to hold it on the planer exhaust port and have cracked off which is a common weak point in its design, however I have made the standard repair by drilling and inserting 1/16\" pins to hold it on. Works fine. A new exhaust adapter is available from Dewalt but it is not worth buying as you will eventually end up with the same repair (see picture). Otherwise it runs like new. The blades are original and still sharp enough to work, but are getting a little dull. I was very happy with this planer. I made a set of figured cherry kitchen cabinets and it cut very smoothly and accurately. I was very happy with it. My next project required a 20 inch planer for a massive amount of planing so I upgraded and haven\'t had a need for this planer since.Please - local pickup only,Location is Califon, New Jersey
