Here is anearly 1900s Folk Art Russian Stockinette Doll featuring a hand painted facewith beaded eyes, colorful hand stitched cloth legs/clothing and cane shoes. Thedoll measures roughly 6.25” in height and has tag indicating its being made inSoviet Union and named and titled Riazan Village Girl. Conditionally, the dollis well preserved having some evidence of handling, but overall the clothingand bodice is in great shape for its age!! The cane shoes have wear and areopen at the ends, but otherwise they are intact. Stand is not included.
