Original Owner selling an unplayed & same as new, Martin Custom Shop, very rare Limited Edition \" Lester Flatt Model \" D-28LF acoustic guitar. These guitars were only made in the late \" 90\'s \" and limited to 50 total & this guitar was bought new by myself in \" 99 \" and has been kept in it\'s case, in controlled storage ever since. I can honestly say it has not been played by anyone since it left the guitar shop, as I have been the only owner. It is same as new, in mint condition & 100% Custom Shop factory original. This is #9 of the series of 50 that will ever be made, and are featured in the book \" Martin Guitar Masterpieces \" by Steve Boak, which is included in the purchase. It is built to the exact original spec\'s of Lester Flatt\'s famous custom, pre-war Model D-28 in every detail. It has beautiful matching Brazilian Rosewood back & sides, with an Englemann spruce top, one piece mahogany neck & an ebony fret-board with custom MOP diamond shaped & slotted block inlays from Pearlworks. Other custom inlay\'s are the MOP name \" LESTER \" at the 15\'th fret & then the \" L-5 \" at the 17\'th fret, which stands for \" Longworth Professional Inlay Job #5 \" Also has an Ivory guitar strap button at the rear, just like Lester Flatt\'s original. This guitar is one of the first twelve or so that were made with the smaller pick-guard, before Martin\'s Custom Shop finished the series with the enlarged modified pick-guard that Lester Flatt later had custom made for him. The guitar is structurally perfect in every way & the finish is 100 % with no cracks, scratches, dings, or marks of any kind. Comes with factory mint OHSC, papers, and original warranty.
