You will receive the exactNATIVE AMERICAN LOT CHOKER BY 3 BEAR KEY CHAINS CREE PIECE & MOREin the pics. I am not an expert on these super cool items. i am saying used/ new with defects on this lot because the 3 BEAR leather on the choker is a bit frayed and issue with Cree piece. Had gemologist glance at 3 Bear choker he said probably bovine/cow bone
The choker's leather is frayed but still real cool has the 3 Bear tag and blue and gold beads and bone.
The "bear claws" keychain is super cool I think they are made of resin. The beaded keychain is great too but has tarnish and some green/rust on the metal.
The 3 Thunderbird beaded hair pieces are fantastic. Little price tag of $39.95 still on there from decade/s plus ago.
Lastly there is a long belt like piece, not sure what it is ,tag says "CREE INDIAN" something on it. Bet you know. Super detailed piece with thousands of tiny beads, white yellow and pink. It is starting to come apart, like needs tying needs alittle help, in 2 spots that i noticed in fact 4 tiny white beads that were hanging came off (will be included in little baggy if you want to put back/fix).
For condition I have "3 Bear choker fraying, CREE piece 4 tiny beads came off needs tying up before use unless just for display please see pics read description please ask questions". The Native American pieces/lots with this disclaimer were procured in huge lots from the same upper end Estate sale. Almost all of them had tagson them and somehad descriptions on the tags and some had prices. Therewere also some tags and some cardsloose in the boxes which lead me to believe at leastthe following tribes were represented in that box of jewelry: BLACKFOOT, SIOUX,NAVAJOand another which I forgot because Ilost that loose tag.Quite a few of the pieces have tags that say "BLACKFOOT (3 BEAR)" on them so Iassume he was a big jewelrymaker.From what I understand the lot came from a collector whohad bought outstores in the midwestincluding but not limited to "TONTO'S TEPEEof Eagle River, Wisconsin... Some of the loose tags/cards that came in the lots, for example, includedunattached cards which say "Certificate of Authenticity Guaranteed Native American Made Artist Curtis Bitsui Artist Census No. 405 728 Tribe Navajo". I wish all the tags were affixed so I could say what is what, but maybe you will be able to tell given the craftsmanship, patterns, colors and so on. I would say these are unique.Please be advised that I am not an expert on Native American jewelry so I cannot give an expert opinion on when they were madenor exactly by whom except by me going by what the labels/tags say and from research. From what I do know, from what I was told, from what I paid, and from what I see and think I do believe the articles are completely genuine and handmade but please judge for yourself. If you know something about some of the pieces that will provide additional info I would appreciate your knowledge.
