Up for sale, Vintage, 1979 Guild S 300 AD. A for Ash body, D for Dimarzio pickups. I am the original owner. I bought this brand new in 1979. I immediately went have it painted transparent red. And add a floating tremolo, locking nut, and custom rosewood tailpiece. It stayed like this for many years. I stopped using tremolo and removed locking nut. I still have it along with the tremolo arm . It is a copy of kahler/rose style. The guitar has been played, has the usual,dings, dents for a used 38 year old guitar. It has a small chip on the top of the ebony fretboard which does not affect playability. Also, had some minor hairline finish separation between the middle of the body, it was dropped on strap holder , very minor, does not affect anything , just small paint Loss, along the middle of the body. Has typical finish checking, and vinyl block inlay decals, covering mother of pearl dot inlays, easily removable. This guitar is otherwise, all original electronics, tuners, pickups, etc, electronics removed once for finishing purposes. This guitar plays like a dream, low action, no buzz, has brand new .09 Ernie Ball strings, set up perfectly. Original pickups are awesome, paf, super distortion. This is an awesome playing, unique guitar. Also comes with original hard-shell case which protects it well, it is worn, middle latch is missing, the other 2 work fine. Also comes with original warranty card, hang tag /manual that came with guitar specific, hand written for this guitar. This is a piece of history, these pictures do not do this guitar justice, looks much nicer in person. no longer produced, made in, long time closed, now famous, Westerly Rhode Island, USA. quality instrument.
