This is the four-log version of one of the most famous and popular of the bitters bottles but in a beautiful light yellow gold color - a color that is significantly lighter than the other 6 log shown in a few pictures.This sale is only for the yellow bottle. The images here are quite accurate, though for a comparison of the color versus a medium amber 6 log example click on the two bottle images thumbnail to see a much larger version. The offered example has a crudely applied long tapered collar (i.e. \"oil\" finish), almost 10\" tall, ca. 1875-1885. The embossing is distinct on this example - clickclose-upto see a close-up of the upper half of this bottle which also shows the color well. Bottle was likely never buried given the wear on the base. I was asked if there was anything wrong with this bottle, and theres a tinny nick on the inside of the lip thats about the size of the point on a tack.If you look close you can see it in newest pictures posted.it appears as a white spot.I didnt see it till taking pictures in the sun.Pictures are accurate.Thank you for looking.Regarding shipping:We do insure all packages worth over 100.00 and we pack very carefully.Most of our selling history established on was with high end HO brass trains that were very delicate.We have always been transparent with our listings, shipped everything about day later then we wanted to,but everything arrived as described.If you have any other questions please ask.
