*RARE* Made in USA B.C. Rich Warlock - Ferrari Red Neck-Through built by Bernie Rico Jr.This guitar is quite amazing - you won\'t find another exactly like it, guaranteed! It was hand built custom by Bernie Rico Jr. (son of the late Bernie Rico who started B.C. Rich) through the B.C. Rich custom shop in approximately 1999. The back of the headstock is signed by Bernie (under the clear coat). USA custom shop BC Rich guitars made while Bernie Sr. was still running the company are getting harder to come by.It features a Mahogany body with Maple neck-through construction (from what I am told). The paint is something special here. The previous owner had this guitar custom made to his specifications. Apparently he wanted the guitar to match his car, so he sent the actual matching Ferrari Rosso Corsa red paint in to BC Rich to spray this guitar. It is bright, rich, super shiny and stunning in person!The guitar was built in a 24 5/8\" scale with 24 jumbo nickel frets on a compound radius (12\" - 14\") fingerboard. The fingerboard itself is Ebony and features gorgeous Abalone diamond inlays. Nut width is 41.3mm (R2) and the neck has a slim and fast shape.This guitar comes with a genuine Original Floyd Rose tremolo (made in Germany), routed for dive bombs and whammy bar tricks. It incorporates two volume controls, a single tone knob with a 3-way toggle switch and features black hardware throughout. Pickups are Dimarzio humbuckers and sound amazing! Tuners are Grover Mini Rotomatics (my personal favorite).Also included is a sturdy G&G USA made hardshell case. This guitar is 100% USA made by hand and was built in approximately 1999 based on the serial number which is 20239. It weighs approximately 8.20 lbs. There are warlocks you might find that were made in the Class Axe days or otherwise were made with incorrect specifications, such as the angle and shape of the headstock, . This is NOT one of these cheesy guitars - it is the real deal with correctly beveled edges on the body and pointed inline headstock with the correct angle and shape.The guitar comes with genuine Floyd Rose noiseless tremolo springs which keep things quiet while using the whammy bar. It has also been professionally copper shielded in the pickup cavities and control cavity to practically eliminate any unwanted buzzing, noise, response, etc. The guitar is set up with 9-46 Ernie Ball strings and tuned to E standard.
