The TV7/U family of testers were mostly made by Hickok in the 1950\'s. They are an incredibly durable and reliable, making them a favorite for both collectors and repairmen! The TV7A/U version comes with a printed data sheet in the lid along with the cord and severalaccessories.
Condition:This machine is in great condition, a close inspection found no flaws or cracks, just some scuffing and writing on the case. The data sheet appears complete, with the exception of two pages that were apparently replaced with typewritten cards. The only other issue worth mentioning is a hole in one of the accessories as shown in close-up in the last pic.As always, we have left the original condition, we will let the lucky new owner decide if and how to get it shining again.The five accessories held in the case all appear to be original to this unit,the power cord and plug are in excellent condition and also appear original. The red & black cap leads are newer and not original to the tester.We tested this unit with a 6AU6 tube as seen in the 2nd pic. With all adjustments set per the data sheet the meter went to 120 when the #3 button was pressed. Lacking the necessary expertise, no further testing was performed, if there are any other tests you would like done please let us know before buying. All said, this is agorgeousexample of one of the finest and most reliable machines ever produced for the Armed Forces.What a great find on top-shelf collectible test equipment!
