From Siberia, Russia; Ice age; woolly mammoth teeth are a minimum 10,000 years old, technically \"mineralized\" rather than fossilized as they are not old enough yet to be fossils.

Gem quality, stabilized & sliced, incredible natural colors, some have the natural molar surface intact

SIBERIAN WOOLLY MAMMOTH- RARE!(Mammuthus primigenius)

Age: Late Pleistocene, 150,000 to 10,000 years.

This animal is known from bones and frozen carcasses from northern North America and northern Eurasia with the best preserved carcasses in Siberia. They are perhaps the most well known species of mammoth.

This mammoth species was first recorded in (possibly 150,000 years old) deposits of the 2nd last glaciation in Eurasia. They were derived from steppe mammoths (Mammuthus trogontherii).

It disappeared from most of its range at the end of the Pleistocene era (10,000 years ago), with a dwarfed race still living on Wrangel Island until roughly 1700 B.C

Why are some of the teeth so colorful? It all depends on the ground in which the tooth began to fossilize. See last photo with a chart explaining what mineral causes what color in fossils or mineralized teeth.

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE, see the chart for postage to your country.
