Wire edm cut. double ended from 1/2 by 1/2 HSS. has correct form relief for smooth, clean cutting. profile is widened .030 at top of flange. this allows roughing, then moving over .015 each direction for clean up pass. handy for lighter lathes that can not handle a full profile cut.
