DESCRIPTION:

Thislisting is fora \"adorable\" German baby doll marked \"BP and BSW in heart\". I do not know the past history but will describe the best I can. This is a reproduction bisque head with antique jointed composition baby doll body. She was advertised as being \"antique\" but her \"eye brows\" and \"painted lashes\" make me believe the head is a reproduction. Strung fine jointed at the shoulders and legs with all fingers and toes intact. Fingers and toes outlined in red for that realistic look. Doll displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. This doll has a \"sweet\" little face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted eye lashes around the eyes, feathered brown brows, has open mouth with upper teeth and molded tongue. Paint rub behind the left ear. Dark blonde wig is glued on a pate that slips over the head. Baby wears long antique gown with lace trim, safety pin closure down the back, full slip, undies and knit booties on feet. Gown is lovely, a few minor snags but nothing terrible.
