Extremely well crafted and highly detailed miniature (4:1 scale) set of feudal Japan\'s Daimyo Nagamasa Kuroda Clan armor. Kuroda Nagamasa (December 3, 1568 – August 29, 1623) was a daimyo during the late Azuchi-Momoyama and Early Edo Period. He was the son of Toyotomi Hideyoshi\'s chief strategist and adviser Kuroda Kanbei. This period correct set of Samurai armor- Nanban dou gusoku- is made to a roughly 4:1 scale and stands 17\" high. Great decorative piece for your man cave or dojo. Pieces include- Dou or dō- Chest armor made up of iron and or leather plates Kusazuri hanging from the front and back of the dō to protect the lower body and upper leg. Sode- shoulder protection Kote, armored glove like sleeves which extended to the shoulder or han kote (kote gauntlets). Kabuto, a helmet with a neck guard called a Shikoro made from several layers of curved iron or leather strips was suspended from the bottom edge of the kabuto.
