1779 MEXICO COLONIAL 8 REALES SILVER COIN.

ITEM DESCRIPTION:(pictures are below).

All buyers...Please make sure you read and agree to the shipping requirements below on this item. You are looking at a Colonial Milled, 1779-FF Mexico 8 Real Silver Coin. Nice looking coin comes in blue velvet box with COA as seen. These large silver colonial coins actually circulated right here in the U.S. during its infancy. This coin is slightly larger then a silver dollar. Obverse shows the armored bust of Ruler Charles III. This particular coin was minted at the Mexico City Mint noted by the “oM” mint mark and minted in .903 silver. The “F.F.” are the initials for the mint assayer, in this case, Francisco Arance Cobos from 1777 to 1803. Sorry if the shade on some of my items is off color, I use an old flatbed scanner. The scanner's not what it used to be. I’ve provided very large scans of this item; I have nothing to hide when it comes to the items I sell. I grade this coin as being in FINE, but please view large size scans to see if you agree. Thank you...Jim.

Shipping & Handling in the U.S. & Canada 3.25 and I will combine items. A single coin...35 cents per coin. Multi coins lots or other items: $1.00 per lot. Oversea buyers: If paying by Pay Pal...REGISTERED MAIL is required on this item or items of $50.00 or more. Unless you wish to pay in another manner other than Pay Pal. The highest shipping cost will apply first. RETURN POLICY: Simple...If you don't like this item, tell me and I'll refund your offer amount. I know how it feels to buy a coin, get it home, and decide you don't like it. It's not a good feeling. I've had my share of this feeling over the years. I didn't like that feeling and I know others don't like it. So, the way I see it, if I sold it, I should have no problem taking it back...right? Too many sellers say "no returns" why? You sold it!!! I don't know, maybe it's just me being old fashion. Please understand…I’m not a large business and can’t afford to eat the losses of return S+H, Pay Pal fees, nor the cost of sending an item back. I’m basically a “one man band” doing everything from start to finish. I try to provide personal attention to each and every customer. Why? Because I enjoy doing this, I want your repeat business, and I guess I’m just that kind of guy. I’m not looking to “rip off” anyone, that’s why I post larger then average scans of the items I sell. Probably some of the largest you’ll find on ! Plus, a description…sometimes short, sometimes long, depending on the item. Nothing I hate more then a small picture, blurry scans, and no description. Heck…take a minute or two and make me feel good about the item I'm about to or considering buying.

This coin does not suffer from "a weak reverse". That statement should have been removed from the description of this coin. Thank you, Jim.

This coin does not suffer from "a weak reverse". That statement should have been removed from the description of this coin. It was used to describe sale 360387330771 which had a very weakly struck reverse. You can use the sale number to check it out. It has nothing to do with the coin in this sale. Thank you, Jim.
