This listing is for a handsome Danish silver serving spoon. The hallmarks include the three towers which indicate that this is at least .826 (826/1000) silver fineness, the master mark for Simon Groth, and an another hallmark that looks like H. MOLLER (or I. I. MOLLER). The number 68 underneath the three towers indicate that this spoon dates to 1868.

There are no monograms on this spoon which has a simply classic style. Measuring 8 1/2 inches long, the spoon weighs 50.5 grams. The Spoon has a ding and a few light scratches in the bowl. I show these in the second and third images, now remember these images are enlarged. The general visual condition is pretty decent. We have polished it because it looked like it had not been the light of day since 1873! we could not read any of the marks.
