1877 Stoneware Jugs Pitchers molded in relief with pink prunus blossoms and tree branches. The handles are coloured and shaped like tree branches. On one of the pair it has the date lozenge on the base. Both in the Aesthetic Movement style. Great as a decorators, or interior design statement.

Pinder Bourne and company was a Staffordshire pottery manufacturer operating at Nile Street Works, Burslem from 1862. Noted for their work in the Japanese style, including stoneware jugs. They produced wares in partnership with Doulton from 1877 to 1882.

The jugs are part of the Victoria and Albert Museum collection and also in the Random House Collector\'s Encyclopedia page 217.

The jugs measure slightly differently in height.

7 inches tall and 7.5 inches tall.

one jug has slight chips to the rim as shown in the pictures. Please study carefully before your offer. I don\'t do returns.

One of the jugs looks like the glaze has been touched up under the handle and also the paint on one of the handles. Small restoration, but not by me!

I pack items well and have great 100% response. Can you see these in your home!??
