You are viewing an absolutely beautiful and ornate antique Cast Iron parlor stove. It is called The Rose Garland # 19 made by the Michigan Stoce Co. in 1895. They were based out of Detroit, Chicago and Buffalo. It can be used as a wood or coal burner. Or just as effective as a display. The top slides over to reveal the cooking plate. It has a working door on the side to put coal or wood into stove. There are 2 doors on the front as well. All is in good working condition. The finial has solid brass dragons for decoration.
This beauty had a face lift with Pot Belly stove paint after a surface rust removal. There is a crack in the back about 7" long, therefore it should not be used for burning unless you have it professionally welded. The finial has a crack towards the base, but hardly noticeable.
I could package this item and ship within the Continental US only for $200.00. I would have to remove the legs and finial to ensure the safety of them. It is easy to reassemble. You could also arrange your own shipping. And of course, pick up is preferred. Please read description and look at pic's carefully as this is an AS IS sale. No returns accepted. I usually ship within 5 business days of cleared payment. If you should have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you for looking.
