A first day cover is an envelope with a stamp cancelled by the U.S. Postal Service on the first day it was released for sale to the public. The envelope usually also has some type of artwork pertaining to the subject on the stamp, making it a beautiful and collectible "work of art". These covers are quite often produced in limited quantities and can never be duplicated once the first day has you for visiting my store, opened for business in Nov. 2017.
