From what I can tell from looking at license plate websites, this is a 1905 California License Plate made of Nickel Plated plate has not been cleaned or \"restored\" in any way. There is black paint or some other modern chemical stain on the rear. One of the two top holes has torn through- no material is missing though. There is what appears to be an extra hole drilled on the bottom left of the plate. The plate is not flat but does not have any folds. This would be a great addition to any California License Plate Collection.
