I found this horn in a house that we bought amd literally the guy left EVERYTHING! Anyway, I don\'t know much about it. From the research I\'ve done I believe it is a 1910 horn. It comes apart as you can see in the pictures. The inside has been gutted of the motor or whatever parts would be inside it to make it work. So it is not in working order as far as I know. I think this thing is solid brass. Even without the inside parts, it\'s still pretty heavy. It looks like it was either painted black by someone on some parts or that\'s the way it was made. The plate on the front reads a parts follows:
\"The Klaxonet
Trade mark reg\'s\'d
Pat\'d Mar 31, 1908 - may 25, 1909 - may 3, 1910

I think this thing was used on old cars, like Model T. :) it\'s very old, so it\'s got some dents and dings. I tried to get pics of everything so you have a good idea of what you are offerding on.
