What a RARE find here!
So rare the only link that shows up in a search for this syrup is an inventory list of trade advertising for
The Louisiana State Museum.
One of the museum reps we spoke to stated he had not seen anything like this before. He also was unaware they made such small boxes. This could possibly be a salesman sample. We do not know.
The box isin fantastic shapeconsidering its age. Please examine the photos carefully as they best describe the condition. The only notable wear (we call it character ;) is one white spot on the front where the box was apparently bumped and the paint scratched off.
There are no stains, some minor fading on the wood in some spots this is to be expected and again, adds character!
It's a great piece of Advertising and we were hesistant to let it go but it may as well go to a collector.
