This is a beautiful example of a FRESHMAN MASTERPIECE model 5-F-2 Broadcast Receiver. This is in as found condition - the only thing I did to it was clean it up a bit. All tubes are present and the wood is in great shape for its age. The top panel is slightly warped on the front right side. This has been on display in my living room for a year It makes for a great conversation piece but it\'s now time for something new.It is untested as I am not sure how it works.
I collect vintage radios, I do not restore them. I purchase most of them from swap meets, yard sales and antique shops. I clean them off and test them whenappropriate.
