1927 IMPERIAL JAPANESE PURE SILVER VICTORY GOBLET IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. DATED SHOWA 2 WHICH IS 1927, AWARDED TO AN OFFICER FOR NAVAL WARFARE STRATEGY.  ALL INSCRIBED IN KANJI ON THE BOTTOM OF THE GOBLET.

THE GOBLET IS MARKED PURE SILVER IN KANJI ON THE BOTTOM, THE INSIDE OF THE GOBLET IS GOLD GILTED.  PURE SILVER MEANS THAT THE SAKE CUP IS MORE THAN 99.9% PURE SILVER WHICH IS A HIGHER PURITY OF SILVER THAN STERLING SILVER.

A GREAT RARE PIECE OF JAPANESE NAVY WW2 HISTORY.
