Nearly complete engine and transmission for a 1928 Whippet. This was the largest engine they offered that year. I put some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders as a precaution and it turns over freely. Compression was felt at the plug holes, but I have no way to test pressure. Appears quite complete besides the generator, but look at the pictures to determine completeness and condition. Starter and distributor are correct original. Starter number Autolite MZ 401L Distributor 1GB4009. Trans goes into neutral and all gears easily, feels really good. Block appears to have the original paint, drab beige, with a layer of oil possibly protecting the rest.Local pickup only near Ann Arbor, MI.
