Unlike many Smith-Corona typewriters, this very early version has a removable ribbon cover featuring an emblem of the Smith-Corona logo, instead of the unadorned back-hinged ribbon cover design of later flat top models.This vintage typewriter’s “Smith-Corona” name celebrated the first new portable typewriter manufactured after L.
