This is a gorgeous dark haired Petite Sally composition doll, circa 1930s. She measures 17\" tall. She has string/wire joints, all still intact. She is fully poseable, and will sit and stand without a doll stand, although I prefer using one for my own display purposes and added protection. She comes wearing a beautiful blue fabric dress that buttons in the back, and has a blue ribbon sash tied around her waist that matches her hair bow. Underneath, she is wearing a dress slip, and some knickers/shorts underneath the shorts. Each have buttons or snaps. She is also wearing little white sandals, marked \"Ideal Toy Corporation\" on the bottoms. One sandal strap has come detached, they seem to be on her feet pretty good, so I haven\'t tried removing them. They may be glued on or just tough to get off. Her dark hair is very soft, I believe it has to be some type of real hair, perhaps mohair. It is a dark brown in color, with a burgundy hue.
She does have some small cracks and imperfections due to age. Her fingers are missing on one hand, pretty typical of composition dolls this old. Her pouty lips are still so very red, and her eyebrows still beautifully arched. Her eyes are no longer clear.
She is marked on the back of her head \"Petite Sally\", and on her back as well.

In the case of damage during an insured shipment, you must file a claim through the shipping carrier that insurance was provided through. I do not give refunds for simple buyer\'s remorse. I do NOT refund return shipping costs. Please return the item in original condition, with tracking information (and insurance) to save us both a lot of hassle.
