VINTAGE CHRISTMAS SNOWBABY & SANTA FIGURE

Adorable vintage 1920s or 1930s molded bisque porcelain Christmas \'snowbaby\' decoration measuring 2-1/4\" tall by 1-5/8\" wide. Covered in ground porcelain to mimic \"snow\", figure depicts Santa on top of an igloo - he carries a sack of gifts and prepares to climb into a little chimney - igloo front is open and you can see a happy little snowbaby on the interior - arms wide and excitedly waiting for Santa to show! Condition is very nice with minor paint wear and touches of tanning from a change to the glue used to attach the snow to the igloo. Marked MADE IN JAPAN, it is just a charming little \"snowbaby\" figurine - whimsical and fun, it would be a wonderful addition to any Christmas collection or holiday display!
