1936-48 NANCY ANN STORYBOOK DOLL

This BEAUTIFUL DOLL is an ORIGINALSTORYBOOK DOLL that was made from 1936-48. This doll is made of Painted Bisque and is 5 1/2 inches tall. The doll has marked on her back \"STORYBOOK DOLL\". This doll has frozen legs with moveable arms (they need restrung). The eyes, mouth and shoes of the doll have been painted on. The doll has a Auburn Mohair Wig that is glued in place. The dress does appear to be original and with the bodice being taffeta and the skirt portion is double layered of blue net that is accented with White Lace. Attached to the underside of the skirt portion is a cream taffeta non see thru material. The under clothes of the doll do not look original as there is some crude sewing on it as if a little girl was making her first attempt at hand sewing. This doll along with 2 others I was able to obtain came from the original owner of the dolls.
