Beautiful Set of Pre-War Vintage CHELSEA 4.5\" Ships Striking Bell Clock, and Rare Holosteric Barometer with Thermometer, both in Nickel Finish. Date code 1937 on both. This rings \"Ships Bells\" at the hour and half hour. Tested and working bells, accurate time, barometer is accurate and moving, case of clock marked 225450 and 225909. Clock marked 225909, and the barometer case is marked 6/37, all corresponding to being made in 1937. Nice shape for a 81-year old set. Good threads to cases. Outer removable (for winding) cover shows minor pitting, please see last photo taken without flash that clearly shows it. Overall great shape for age. Shows a repair sticker from a local clock shop dated 1991. Mounted on board, ready to hang. Fully returnable if not entirely happy. Please ask any questions before purchase. Pictures so clear I missed removing a Golden Lab hair from the 4th photo, sorry.
