Here is a 1940 Schwinn DX men\'s 26\" bike badged as a \"Packard\". It appears to be all original except for the tires. It does have a pair of very old jeweled grips that were probably installed decades ago.As you can see it has plenty of \"Petina\" & surface rust. The chrome on the sprocket is pretty nice, but the rest of the chrome has rust. The original seat is in nice shape. So either restore it or install new tires an d ride it like it is. 1940 was the last year for the \"Upward Wing\" tank graphics.
